The Universal Audio Volt 2 Max is a 10-in / 4-out desktop USB audio interface designed for recording, production, streaming, and content creation. Combining Universal Audio's Tone Shaping Preamps with onboard Max compression, 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion, Auto-Gain, Clip Protection, and a full-color Smart Display, Volt 2 Max gives you a versatile recording setup with professional sound and hands-on controls.

Two microphone/line inputs provide up to 60 dB of digitally controlled gain, while the front-panel Hi-Z inputs make it easy to connect guitars, basses, and other instruments directly. The Tone Shaping Preamps offer three harmonic character modes—Warmth, Focus, and Shine—while Max Processing provides six compressor presets designed for sources such as vocals, guitar, and bass.

The Volt 2 Max also includes a built-in talkback microphone, two headphone outputs, MIDI I/O, and ADAT/S/PDIF optical input for expanding your setup with additional digital inputs. Its built-in USB hub can power compatible peripherals and MIDI controllers, while loopback functionality makes it well suited for podcasts, livestreams, and other content creation applications.

With USB bus power and class-compliant operation, Volt 2 Max can be used with Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone. It also integrates with the UAD Console app and LUNA, and includes a collection of UAD plug-ins, instruments, and third-party software to get your recording setup up and running.
