The SOMA Breakout Box is a compact standalone interface that unlocks the full expressive power of FLUX, or works as a flexible MIDI-to-CV converter for any modern DAW or hardware setup. Designed for both desktop and Eurorack use, it lets you translate deep gestural control, MPE data, and MIDI CC messages into precise CV signals for your modular or analog instruments.

Two Operating Modes: Use it as a dedicated expansion for FLUX or as a universal MIDI-to-CV converter with any DAW, sequencer, or MIDI controller that supports CC messages.

FLUX Integration: When paired with FLUX, the Breakout Box provides CV and MIDI outputs for all key FLUX parameters, including pitch, velocity (mono and duo modes), six bipolar CVs from the timbral keyboard, and tilt CV.

MIDI / MPE to CV: Operates as a MIDI-to-CV hub that supports standard MIDI, MPE, and CC control, allowing expressive controllers and software instruments to drive your modular system.

Configurable CV Mapping: CV outputs can be mapped according to user-defined settings via a computer and stored in the unit’s non-volatile memory, so your preferred setup is always ready to go.

Desktop or Eurorack Ready: Housed in a compact 140 × 45 × 34 mm metal enclosure, the front panel and internals are designed to fit as a 6HP Eurorack module without requiring internal case power.
