Harrison Flex-10 10-In / 12-Out USB-C Audio Interface
The Harrison Flex-10 combines the unmistakable character of Harrison’s classic analog consoles with the flexibility and performance required for modern recording and production. Designed as a 10-input / 12-output desktop audio interface, it features high-resolution 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion, Harrison microphone preamps, analog tone-shaping controls, expandable digital I/O, and comprehensive monitoring connectivity.
At the heart of the Flex-10 are two high-performance Harrison microphone preamps equipped with H-DRIVE transformer saturation. This circuit allows users to move from clean and detailed amplification to richer harmonic coloration, bringing additional depth and analog character to vocals, instruments, and other sources. Each channel also incorporates Harrison-style high-pass and low-pass filtering inspired by the company’s legendary 32 Series consoles, providing immediate tone shaping during recording.
Two front-panel Hi-Z inputs accommodate guitars, basses, and other instrument-level sources, while dedicated line inputs provide additional flexibility for synthesizers and external equipment. Balanced insert send and return connections are available on both primary input channels, making it easy to integrate compressors, equalizers, 500 Series processors, and other analog outboard equipment directly into the recording chain.
For larger setups, the Flex-10 includes eight-channel ADAT input and output, allowing compatible external converters or microphone preamps to be added to the system. Two independent stereo monitor outputs with dedicated level controls provide flexible speaker management, while two high-current headphone outputs support performers and engineers during tracking and monitoring sessions.
MIDI input and output over 3.5 mm TRS connections provide integration with synthesizers, drum machines, controllers, and other MIDI-equipped hardware. Dual front-panel VU meters offer clear visual monitoring while reinforcing the interface’s classic console-inspired design.
The Flex-10 operates as a class-compliant interface with macOS and supports Windows systems through an ASIO driver. Harrison Mixbus 12 and the Harrison Creator Pack are also included, providing a complete software environment for recording, mixing, virtual instruments, effects, loops, and samples.
