Divkid Mutes DIY mk2
The Mutes Mk2 (4HP) preserves the clever simplicity of the original while adding meaningful upgrades for performance and precision. With four channels (4 in / 4 out), each equipped with a three-position mute switch, it allows real-time muting of both audio and CV signals—ideal for live sets and modular improvisation.
The updated Mk2 features refined circuitry built around VCA technology, delivering enhanced accuracy for both audio and modulation signals, while maintaining the signature click-free response that made the original so popular.
Each channel offers a three-position toggle switch:
Momentary (left): Signal passes only while the switch is held, then returns to center.
Off (center): Mutes the signal.
On (right): Keeps the signal active.
Signal LEDs return for quick visual feedback, and inputs are buffered and normalized—making it easy to split signals across multiple destinations or create grouped routings.
Designed with performance in mind, Mutes Mk2 lets you instantly mute modulators or drop elements from your patch with precision and speed.
The Mutes Mk2 now includes an alternative 1U panel, allowing the module to be mounted sideways in compatible Intellijel-format 1U rows and cases. This 1U panel comes included in the box or kit alongside the standard 3U version
