Chauvet Professional Maverick Storm 3 BeamWash 2 IP Moving Head
The Maverick Storm 3 BeamWash 2 is a high-output IP65-rated moving head designed for touring, theatrical, house-of-worship, and large-scale event productions. It combines powerful RGBW beam and wash capabilities with extensive pixel-mapping effects, allowing a single fixture to deliver tight aerial beams, broad colour coverage, and animated visual patterns.
Its main light engine uses 28 45W RGBW LEDs divided between independently controlled inner and outer zones. Separate zoom control for each zone allows designers to layer narrow beams and wide washes from the same fixture, with a motorized zoom range extending from 3.9° to 53.8°. Output exceeding 18,500 lumens provides the intensity required for large stages and demanding production environments.
A 256-LED RGB outer ring is divided into 12 controllable zones for additional eye-candy effects. Fully pixel-mappable LEDs, built-in foreground and background macros, and a stealth filter support smooth colour blending, detailed animations, and striking effects both live and on camera.
Selectable PWM frequencies and multiple dimming modes provide smooth, camera-friendly performance. The fixture supports DMX, RDM, W-DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and Kling-Net, with both simple and advanced channel profiles for flexible programming. Network connectivity, fail-safe Ethernet pass-through, an integrated web server, and a USB-C software port simplify setup and maintenance in modern production environments.
