The AMS 5DC is a full-bandwidth 240-Watt high-sensitivity loudspeaker featuring TANNOY’s all-new 5" Dual Concentric point-source driver with Omnimagnet technology on a Torus Ogive Waveguide. This design delivers wide and consistent broadband directivity with enhanced intelligibility, while maintaining the linear response of TANNOY’s legendary studio monitors. The AMS 5DC is ideally suited for stereo or mono background/foreground music applications in theme parks, hotels, restaurants, bars, retail stores, corporate AV setups, residential developments, and houses of worship. The elegantly styled semi-matt black ABS enclosure blends seamlessly into any décor. With an IP65 rating, the AMS 5DC is perfect for both indoor and outdoor environments, including indoor swimming pools, saunas, dusty or humid work areas, and outdoor spaces with moderate weather conditions.
Attractive and Easy to Install
The durable, heat-resistant ABS enclosure features a black painted finish and an aesthetically pleasing grille. Installation is quick and simple with the included colour-matched yoke mounting bracket. An optional VARIBALL multi-angle bracket is available separately. The included weatherproof cable gland protects the Phoenix input and link output connectors, as well as the integral low-insertion-loss 30 W transformer with convenient tap switching.
