Rode RODECaster Video Core All-In-One Production Console
The Rode RODECaster Video Core is a compact all-in-one video and audio production console designed for professional streaming, video podcasts, interviews, studio productions and live content creation. Combining a powerful video switching engine with a professional multichannel audio mixer, it delivers the core production capabilities of the RØDECaster Video platform in a streamlined format designed primarily for software-based control.
The Video Core can switch between up to four simultaneous video sources, including three Full HD HDMI inputs and a compatible UVC video source over USB-C. Its high-performance octa-core processor supports Full HD production at up to 1080p60, while customisable transitions, chroma keying, graphic overlays, media playback and multi-source scenes provide extensive creative control. Up to five customised scenes can be prepared for fast switching between complex layouts.
Network video support expands the system further, with up to four NDI inputs and an NDI output available through Ethernet, including support for compatible network and PTZ cameras. Productions can be streamed directly using RTMP/RTMPS, while external USB storage can be connected for video and multitrack audio recording. Internal storage is also available for media assets used during a production.
Audio is handled by a fully integrated professional mixer with two studio-grade Neutrik combo XLR/TRS inputs featuring RØDE's ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamps. Up to nine stereo audio channels can be mixed and routed, with professional APHEX processing available on each channel, including EQ, compression, noise gating, high-pass filtering and de-essing alongside Aural Exciter, Big Bottom and Compellor processing.
Multiple USB-C connections enable integration with computers, compatible UVC video devices, RØDE USB microphones and other supported equipment. RØDECaster Sync also allows the Video Core to work alongside a RØDECaster Pro II or RØDECaster Duo, creating a larger modular production system with unified audio and video control.
The RØDECaster App provides the primary control environment for switching sources, building scenes, managing graphics, configuring video and mixing audio. For post-production workflows, EDL export allows switching decisions, transitions, media and overlays from a recorded production to be transferred into DaVinci Resolve, significantly reducing the time required to recreate a live edit.
