This version of the Launchkey Mini brings the same trusted workflow in a fresh white finish. It offers full creative control with 37 white and grey mini keys, 16 polyphonic-aftertouch pads, eight encoders, and a set of dedicated transport and navigation controls — all streamlined for fast, expressive music creation.
Launchkey integrates instantly with all major DAWs, offering seamless control for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Bitwig Studio, Reason, and Ardour. Use it to manage transport, mix levels, trigger clips, tweak instrument parameters, and control effects. In Ableton Live’s Session View or Logic’s Live Loops, the 16 pads double as RGB clip launchers that reflect your screen layout perfectly.
All creative tools are built directly into the hardware, so they work the same way whether you're using a DAW, hardware synth, or mobile device. Scale Modes let you lock the keys to one of 30 scales or restrict notes to just the white keys. Fixed Chord and User Chord modes allow full chords to be triggered from a single key, while Chord Maps make it easy to build emotional progressions with the pads. The updated arpeggiator offers deeper control and greater rhythmic variety for spontaneous pattern creation.
The patented FSR pads are ultra-responsive and feature polyphonic aftertouch, offering better consistency and sensitivity than standard pads. You can trigger notes, chords, or play expressive drum patterns with exceptional precision.
Launchkey Mini is also fully customizable. With Novation’s Components software, you can remap controls to suit your workflow — assigning MIDI CCs, notes, or program changes. Store up to four custom layouts on the device and recall them instantly during a session.
Thanks to the 3.5 mm MIDI output, you can control external synths without a computer. Just connect via a standard TRS to MIDI adapter and use Launchkey as a standalone performance tool. It’s bus-powered and class-compliant, making it fully compatible with iOS apps like Novation’s free Launchpad app.
Launchkey Mini 37 White includes everything you need to start creating right away. The included copy of Ableton Live 12 Lite provides eight tracks of MIDI and audio recording, along with instruments, effects, and workflow tools designed to pair perfectly with the controller. You’ll also get access to additional professional sound content from Novation.
