Nano Modules MAR - Multichannel Dual Mixer.
A compact dual 4-channel mixer module designed for flexible audio and CV summing in Eurorack systems. MAR is built to function as a utility mixer with performance-oriented features, making it useful for both static signal routing and dynamic modulation-based mixing.
Thanks to its DC-coupled design, MAR can process audio, CV, and gate signals equally well, allowing it to function as a central mixing hub for both sound and control voltage. The module is split into two independent mixer sections (X and Y), each offering different routing and output behavior for flexible system integration.
Key Features
- Dual 4-channel mixer architecture: two independent mixing buses (X and Y)
- DC-coupled design: supports audio, CV, and gate signal mixing (±10V range)
- Channel gain control: per-input level adjustment for precise balancing
- Dual outputs on Mixer X: standard output plus inverted output for phase and routing flexibility
- Single output on Mixer Y: summed mix with dedicated level control
- LED level indicators: real-time visual feedback of output activity
- Logarithmic potentiometers: smooth response for both audio and control signals
- Compact 8HP format: efficient use of rack space for core mixing tasks
Functional Overview
MAR is designed as a flexible signal summing tool that goes beyond basic mixing. The dual-bus architecture allows users to separate or combine signal groups creatively, while the inverted output on Mixer X enables phase tricks, stereo manipulation, or complex modulation routing.
Because it handles both audio and CV, MAR can be used not only for mixing voices but also for combining modulation sources, sequencing signals, or building dynamic control structures inside a patch.
Use Case
Ideal for compact Eurorack systems needing versatile mixing without sacrificing performance control. MAR can serve as a utility summing module, a modulation hub, or a performance mixer depending on patch design.
