D16 Nepheton 2 Superb TR-808 Emulation Plugin.
Beyond Emulation:
Nepheton isn't just a digital recreation; it's a reimagining of the legendary TR-808 drum machine. We meticulously crafted 17 fully synthesized modules to capture the essence of the original sounds, while offering additional controls for deep sound and envelope manipulation. Explore the sonic possibilities and create your own signature beats.
Unleash Your Routing Creativity:
Nepheton's flexible output configuration empowers you to sculpt your drum sounds like never before. Route each drum module's audio signal to any of the 12 independent outputs. This allows you to send individual sounds to dedicated Aux channels within your DAW, where you can apply your favorite plugins for further sonic sculpting. Each output can be set to mono or stereo, and for the true 808 enthusiast, we've included a fully configurable Trigger output.
Unparalleled Control:
Nepheton offers extensive MIDI control, allowing you to trigger individual modules as an alternative to the internal sequencer. This functionality can be synchronized with Nepheton's internal clock or your DAW sequencer for seamless integration. Automate most Nepheton parameters within your DAW, or take command with an external MIDI controller. The user-friendly "MIDI Learn" function makes assigning parameters a breeze.
Internal Sequencing Power:
Nepheton's internal sequencer boasts two distinct pattern banks: simple and extended. Create intricate rhythms with 16 extended patterns or tap into 96 simple patterns. Edit patterns traditionally using the step buttons or tap into the convenient tap function for intuitive creation.
Simple Patterns for Easy DAW Integration:
In Host Mode, each simple pattern location has a dedicated MIDI note number assigned to it. Simply draw notes within your DAW to trigger complete drum patterns, streamlining your workflow.
Extended Patterns for Complex Compositions:
Extended patterns offer even more creative potential. Each pattern features four segments (variations A & B, parts 1 & 2) to build intricate rhythmic structures. The extended pattern bank is divided into two groups: Basic Patterns and Intro/Fill-In Patterns. Trigger variations, experiment with fill-in modes (automatic or manual), and add an intro pattern for an engaging start to your tracks.
Spark Creativity with Randomization:
Stuck in a creative rut? Nepheton's randomization feature is your secret weapon. Generate subtle variations within existing patterns or create entirely new ones – perfect for breaking through creative roadblocks. Randomization can be applied selectively to individual drums or globally with adjustable recurrence frequencies.
The Groove Goes Wild (or Subtle):
Nepheton's iconic shuffle knob goes beyond conventional triplets. Dial in the perfect amount of rhythmic swing, from subtle nudges to full-on rhythmic chaos. Explore a spectrum of grooves and find the perfect feel for your music.
Share Your Creations Effortlessly:
All Nepheton files are stored in the user-friendly XML format, allowing you to effortlessly share single patterns or entire banks with other users. This format even enables editing within a simple text editor, making it perfect for online collaboration or sharing patterns on forums.
