Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 2DX Haze Machine
The Hurricane Haze 2DX is a compact, water-based haze machine designed to create a thin, continuous atmosphere that enhances beams, washes, lasers, and other lighting effects. Its combination of continuous output, adjustable airflow, and flexible control makes it suitable for mobile DJs, clubs, event productions, stages, houses of worship, and other environments where consistent haze coverage is required.
After an initial warm-up time of approximately three minutes, the Hurricane Haze 2DX can produce continuous haze at up to 1,200 cubic feet per minute. Adjustable blower speed and an adjustable output nozzle make it possible to control both the amount and direction of the haze, helping distribute the effect evenly throughout different venue layouts.
Operation can be handled directly from the built-in digital display, via DMX, or with the included wired timer remote. Two-channel DMX operation provides external control over haze output and fan operation using standard 3-pin XLR connections. This flexibility makes the unit equally practical for simple standalone setups and integrated lighting systems.
Quiet internal fans help reduce unwanted noise during performances and presentations. A low-fluid indicator monitors the 2-liter tank and automatically shuts down the machine when the fluid supply is depleted, helping protect the internal pump and simplifying operation during longer events.
