The Torso Electronics S-4 is a powerful, performance-focused stereo sampler built for sonic exploration and real-time sound transformation. Bridging the tactile creativity of tape-era workflows with modern digital processing, the S-4 offers a unique platform for crafting evolving soundscapes, intricate compositions, and spontaneous performances. - Four Parallel Stereo Tracks: Each track runs an independent signal chain with samplers, granular processors, morphing resonators, and advanced effects.
- Extensive Modulation System: Up to 20 modulators per track including complex LFOs, envelopes, generative tools, and the new Follow device for envelope following based on audio amplitude.
- Live Sampling and Processing: Capture sounds via the stereo line input or built-in microphone, then instantly mangle, stretch, and transform them in real time.
- Disc Device: Stream long-form audio directly from internal storage with virtually unlimited sample length—ideal for full stems, field recordings, or extended loops.

- Workflow Enhancements: Improved UI, copy/paste for tracks/devices/scenes, upgraded Tape device, and refined modulation routing.
