It adds low-frequency radiating area and increases the overall array height to extend bass response and improve pattern control when combined with the main column.

The supplied coupler plate connects the extension to the matching main column. It is an extension cabinet rather than a standalone full-range loudspeaker and does not include the CBT 1000 or its high-frequency section. The combined system's published response and output must not be treated as specifications for the extension by itself.

The enclosure is finished in white to match the corresponding installation. The main column, external amplification and optional mounting configurations are sold separately. Mounting the extension above the main column requires the appropriate offset-bracket arrangement.

Key Features

Purpose-designed low-frequency extension for JBL CBT 1000

Six 6.5 in high-excursion low-frequency drivers

Purpose-designed crossover network for the combined array

Adds bass output and extends array pattern control when combined with the main column

Passive extension cabinet

Coupler plate included for attachment to the main column

Fiberglass-reinforced ABS enclosure

White finish

One extension cabinet; CBT 1000 main loudspeaker sold separately

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0526/4175/9421/files/jbl-cbt-1000e-wh-lf-extension-loudspeaker-white_Front.jpg?v=1793206340
